How is the tip amount calculated?
We multiply your bill amount by the tip percentage. For example, a 15% tip on a $50.00 bill gives a $7.50 tip and a $57.50 total.
Is the tip calculated before or after tax?
The tip is calculated on whatever amount you enter. If your bill includes tax and you prefer to tip on the pre-tax amount, simply enter the pre-tax total.
How does the bill split work?
Enter the number of people splitting the bill. We divide the total (bill + tip) equally and show each person's share under Per Person.
Can I enter a custom tip percentage?
